Fifteen out of 10. They excelled in every category. Respectful, clean, thoughtful, strong, efficient. The truck was well packed and organized. My stuff was safe in their hands and everything moved in a timely manner. Their truck has cords that hook onto the walls, and they utilize these and moving blankets every few feet to secure things. Very grateful. Reasonably priced as well.

I had an unfortunate moving event with Nextgen movers. I actually booked my move with Getmovers, they are a big company and they work with partners, Nextgen Moving in this case. My move was booked for 3 PM, they call and let me know, they were going to be late and arrive at 4:30, at 4:45 PM, I received another call saying they are running even late and will arrive at 7 PM, they did not arrive until 8 PM(really unacceptable). My mover was Roman, and he helped me with my move. Last to pack was my dining table with glass top, I asked Roman to pack the glass in blankets separately, since it was fragile, he said it's only 10 mins away and it should be okay, so only wrapped the table with plastic film, did not secure it, sure enough, the glass top breaks. He said he is sorry and will get me a replacement glass, till this day, I have not received the glass. I have been patient enough and keep on following up, trusting him, but now that seems like it was a mistake, I should probably go through insurance to get my reimbursement. It's been more than a week, and I still haven't got my glass table.

Movers worked non-stop for 8 hours, refused to take breaks or whatever we offered them to eat or drink. We were pleasantly surprised with their diligence, spead, and accuracy. All this was done for a reasonable price. Thank-you!

Just wanted to leave a review for the NexGen team and refer them to anyone considering movers in the near future. My wife and I had a local move from our 1 bedroom condo to another bigger condo in the North York region.
Jane and the NexGen Moving team were communicative, transparent, flexible (we needed to change our original moving date), punctual and exceeded all expectations.
We had lots of cardboard boxes with fragile items and lots of furniture and other delicate items such as TVs and glass dining table moved with care from one condo to another without any damage. The two older gentlemen who helped with our move were very honest and helpful. They made a stressful move stress free. Thank you again!

I set up the contract with Jane, and right from the beginning she was accommodating, transparent, and easy to work with. I asked her for the bottom line with no hidden costs, and she delivered exactly that. I called her several times with questions, and every single time she picked up and answered everything clearly and patiently.
On moving day, Denis and Roman arrived with their truck and immediately impressed me with their professionalism. They dismantled a large Italian bedroom suite, wrapped everything carefully, and transported it 6 km to the new house. Not a single scratch on the furniture or the floors at either location. They reassembled everything perfectly, worked efficiently, and didn’t even take breaks—they were focused the entire 5.5 hours.

I highly recommend NextGen movers! Communication was easy with Jane to set up the date/time of the move, and from the movers on the day of the move. The two movers Dennis and his colleague were so professional - they were very fast (we went a little bit over their estimated time only because our new apartment building has a small elevator, which required more trips) and careful (no damages to our things at all). They were also super reasonably priced. I will definitely be recommending this moving company to everyone, and will be using them for our next move. Amazing service! Denis showed up at the expected time and was very professional and accommodating! They helped me move out of my condo in Thornhill to a storage unit in Vaughan. Denis & 4 crew were great - they came with two trucks. Respectful and worked hard for 8 hours for our move. They were careful with our possessions and wrapped some of the furniture to further protect from scratches etc during the move. We had them stop for refreshments every now and then, otherwise they would likely have pushed through. They did not use a dolly or lifting equipment which made us slightly nervous, but there were no issues.
We appreciated Jane - our "concierge" that kept in touch from start (initial quote) to finish (incl. post-delivery) via whatsapp, giving us a sense of comfort that this is a professional outfit that cares about the services they provide. They even delivered a couple of wardrobe boxes prior to the move to help us get organized.

The two gentlemen who handled the move were outstanding — they called ahead with updates on their ETA, which made coordination easy and stress-free.

We recently hired NextGen moving for our move from mid-town to up-town and had a wonderful experience. Started with communication during the booking process. I submitted my information on Homestars and received a follow up within a couple of hours from Jane. The price was right, and the reviews looked good. Then for the move, the crew of Denis, Rafik, Hasan, Apti, and Roman showed up for the 830am start a few mins early, which is on-time in my books. Everything from there was smooth and effortless. They took great care during disassembly, reassembly, moving, etc. The entire move was done in fewer hours than anticipated, making them MUCH MUCH MUCH more efficient than previous movers we have hired. Overall, everything was well taken care of, no damage, faster than expected, making us very happy to have worked with NextGen. Great team, great price, great results! We moved this Saturday, Nov 22 from a house in Mount Albert to a house in Innisfil.
NewGen Moving came personally to our house in Mount Albert to evaluate the furniture and all the items that needed to be moved. The quote was for 12 hours with 5 people and two trucks.
On the day of the move they were punctual and worked non stop all morning to load the trucks. When we arrived in Innisfil they took only a lunch break and started to unload. They helped to put all back together and took the boxes to the specified rooms.
It took them exactly 12 hours from begining to the end of the move. Denis, the Supervisor of the team was working with them and did not waste time. He was very accomodating and so where the others.
We are very pleased and impressed with the whole experience.

I just moved out for the first time into an apartment and I was a little worried about having my stuff scuffed or break during the moving process. The job got done ahead of schedule and I was very surprised at how well they handled my things! The furniture is heavy, cabinets and a sofa, but the guys did a great job and delivered it to my floor. The price is reasonable, no hidden extra charges. I recommend it, good service.

For anyone looking for movers, I highly recommend this company. This is my first time hiring movers as I always believe if you want something done right, do it yourself. I this case after assessing those costs and time involved with me and one of my friends, I decided to hire movers.

NextGen Moving! On time and always kept me notified of where they were from time of arrival to pick up the load to the arrival time to deliver the load. All items were carefully wrapped in plastic and moving blankets and then safely secured inside the truck. They got right down to business and the move went smoothly and quickly! My stuff was safe in their hands and everything moved in a timely manner. Their truck has cords that hook onto the walls, and they utilize these and moving blankets every few feet to secure things. I had an unfortunate moving event with Nextgen movers. I actually booked my move with Getmovers, they are a big company and they work with partners, Nextgen Moving in this case. My move was booked for 3 PM, they call and let me know, they were going to be late and arrive at 4:30, at 4:45 PM, I received another call saying they are running even late and will arrive at 7 PM, they did not arrive until 8 PM(really unacceptable). My mover was Roman, and he helped me with my move. Last to pack was my dining table with glass top, I asked Roman to pack the glass in blankets separately, since it was fragile, he said it's only 10 mins away and it should be okay, so only wrapped the table with plastic film, did not secure it, sure enough, the glass top breaks. He said he is sorry and will get me a replacement glass, till this day, I have not received the glass. I have been patient enough and keep on following up, trusting him, but now that seems like it was a mistake, I should probably go through insurance to get my reimbursement. It's been more than a week, and I still haven't got my glass table.

Jane and the NexGen Moving team were communicative, transparent, flexible (we needed to change our original moving date), punctual and exceeded all expectations.
We had lots of cardboard boxes with fragile items and lots of furniture and other delicate items such as TVs and glass dining table moved with care from one condo to another without any damage. I highly recommend NextGen movers! Communication was easy with Jane to set up the date/time of the move, and from the movers on the day of the move. The two movers Dennis and his colleague were so professional - they were very fast (we went a little bit over their estimated time only because our new apartment building has a small elevator, which required more trips) and careful (no damages to our things at all). Denis & 4 crew were great - they came with two trucks. Respectful and worked hard for 8 hours for our move. They were careful with our possessions and wrapped some of the furniture to further protect from scratches etc during the move. We had them stop for refreshments every now and then, otherwise they would likely have pushed through. They did not use a dolly or lifting equipment which made us slightly nervous, but there were no issues.
We appreciated Jane - our "concierge" that kept in touch from start (initial quote) to finish (incl. post-delivery) via whatsapp, giving us a sense of comfort that this is a professional outfit that cares about the services they provide. They even delivered a couple of wardrobe boxes prior to the move to help us get organized.

We recently hired NextGen moving for our move from mid-town to up-town and had a wonderful experience. Started with communication during the booking process. I submitted my information on Homestars and received a follow up within a couple of hours from Jane. The price was right, and the reviews looked good. Then for the move, the crew of Denis, Rafik, Hasan, Apti, and Roman showed up for the 830am start a few mins early, which is on-time in my books. Everything from there was smooth and effortless. They took great care during disassembly, reassembly, moving, etc. The entire move was done in fewer hours than anticipated, making them MUCH MUCH MUCH more efficient than previous movers we have hired. We moved this Saturday, Nov 22 from a house in Mount Albert to a house in Innisfil.
NewGen Moving came personally to our house in Mount Albert to evaluate the furniture and all the items that needed to be moved. The quote was for 12 hours with 5 people and two trucks.
On the day of the move they were punctual and worked non stop all morning to load the trucks. When we arrived in Innisfil they took only a lunch break and started to unload. They helped to put all back together and took the boxes to the specified rooms.
It took them exactly 12 hours from begining to the end of the move. Denis, the Supervisor of the team was working with them and did not waste time. He was very accomodating and so where the others.
We are very pleased and impressed with the whole experience.

I recently ordered furniture transportation and was pleased. They arrived on time, quickly disassembled everything, carefully packed it and delivered it without damage. The furniture is heavy, cabinets and a sofa, but the guys did a great job and delivered it to my floor. The price is reasonable, no hidden extra charges. I recommend it, good service.

I’m really grateful to the team at NextGen Moving for making what could’ve been a stressful day feel so smooth! They were incredibly courteous and friendly the entire time. Professional, but also just very kind people to be around during a hectic move.
What impressed me most was how organized and efficient they were. Even though we only had one elevator available and no service elevator, they made it work without any delays. Everything was packed and loaded with care, and it was clear they had a system in place that made it a quick process.

For anyone looking for movers, I highly recommend this company. This is my first time hiring movers as I always believe if you want something done right, do it yourself. I this case after assessing those costs and time involved with me and one of my friends, I decided to hire movers.

We needed help moving an 800lb bed from the top floor of the house all the way to the basement. Trust me when I say it is no easy feat. I spoke with Jane who was friendly and very responsive and she assured me that their movers will get the job done. I was very impressed with how well the movers managed everything. NextGen Moving! On time and always kept me notified of where they were from time of arrival to pick up the load to the arrival time to deliver the load. All items were carefully wrapped in plastic and moving blankets and then safely secured inside the truck. They got right down to business and the move went smoothly and quickly! Pricing was great and when looking for quotes I was responded to quickly. Any questions asked were answered in a timely manner! Denis and Hassan did an amazing job. I would definitely use them again.

I found Next Gen Moving through Google and gave them a call on short notice — just two days before my move. Jane was super helpful, understanding, and got everything sorted quickly. She even helped me out with flexible payment options when I had trouble with e-transfers.
On moving day (March 30, 2025), the team called me right at 8:45 AM and got started at 9 sharp. Even though I was dealing with delays from my building management, the movers didn’t waste a minute. They worked straight through until 11:30, and when I asked for help cleaning up some leftover debris, they jumped in without hesitation — even cleaned my balcony!
