I had an unfortunate moving event with Nextgen movers. I actually booked my move with Getmovers, they are a big company and they work with partners, Nextgen Moving in this case. My move was booked for 3 PM, they call and let me know, they were going to be late and arrive at 4:30, at 4:45 PM, I received another call saying they are running even late and will arrive at 7 PM, they did not arrive until 8 PM(really unacceptable). My mover was Roman, and he helped me with my move. Last to pack was my dining table with glass top, I asked Roman to pack the glass in blankets separately, since it was fragile, he said it's only 10 mins away and it should be okay, so only wrapped the table with plastic film, did not secure it, sure enough, the glass top breaks. He said he is sorry and will get me a replacement glass, till this day, I have not received the glass. I have been patient enough and keep on following up, trusting him, but now that seems like it was a mistake, I should probably go through insurance to get my reimbursement. It's been more than a week, and I still haven't got my glass table.
Very unprofessional service, especially by Roman. I really feel cheated.
I will update this review with 5 stars, once I get my glass for my dining table
